Do You Even Brown Butter?

I am a butter lover. No bagel passes my mouth without visible globs of it. Brown butter is by far my favorite way to consume it. I may or may not have been trying to find a way to sell it at farmer’s markets with my best friend, with whom I have full on conversations over text about how great brown butter is. Usually when I tell someone about it and they don’t know anything about it. This will change your life!

This sauce is light enough to drizzle over summer veggies and rich enough to use in a winter roux and everything else in between. I used the brown butter I made here to top waffles along with some peach jam, but you can’t beat it on cacio e pepe, pasta with fresh cracked pepper and freshly grated parmesan!
